坐咗約十分鐘的士, 嚟到 Holiday Inn, 呢間酒店喺 Cairns 嚟講已經係五星級, 我哋喺大堂等既時候, (以為未入得房, 白等咗半個鐘) 到處走走, 發現呢間酒店既大堂及公園都好靚, 有園林有水池有大魚有魚毛, 仲有好多地方畀你坐, 搞到我都影咗唔少相。 不過一上咗樓就差啲喇, 感覺好舊, 好似香港廿年前啲公屋既走廊咁, 入到房個 feel 都係舊少少, 地方就更加細過 Gold Coast 間 GCI 好多, 但 GCI 都係四星酒店咋, 呢間五星喎~ 而且講服務員質素, 都係 GCI 好好多, 呢度既職員唔知係咪知我哋係華人, 感覺上態度一般, 搞到我哋即時好掛住 GCI 呀~~~~~~~~~~~ 仲有, 雖然我 book 房時要咗 VIP Package, 即係送支香檳, 但支香檳唔好飲架! 我哋飲咗幾啖就冇要喇... 不過呢間酒店行過去碼頭都唔算太遠, 約五至十分鐘路程就到, 同埋一樣有房內保險箱, 呢樣嘢對我哋呢啲一定會出海去大堡礁既旅客嚟講非常重要架!
地點不錯有很多房間可以直接面海, 不過餐廳用餐偏貴, 特別是早餐如果是現場買單, 還分三級價格, 在國外少見. 在同樣的自助式餐館中, 若不是繳納高額全餐價, 就只好啃麵包流口水了. 而且看的很嚴, 被逮到拿了點白飯, 就馬上追著要補差額. 有點失禮和沒人性. 其他的服務還算是可以.
